Katie from Courtenay and her mom have some great ideas  – in the “an old idea that’s come around again” category she’s got an autograph book for people she meets to sign; she also has a button which she presses to activate a recorded voice that greets people.   Katie’s also a great photographer who takes and keeps photos on a digital camera and likes to scroll through the memory card and show people who she’s spent time and what she’s been up to.

Katie, local friends and involved families have been supported by a CLBC Innovations grant to work with Jay Townsend in the organization of “The Friendship Project” which helps people connect, have fun and make new friends.   Some amazing stuff is happening on Vancouver Island and this is one of those things.   for more information: thefriendshipproject@gmail.com
