“Belonging to One Another: Building Personal Support Networks” publication from CLBC
A new publication from CLBC, via the work of Jule Hopkins, is the booklet “Belonging to One Another: Building Personal Support Networks”: “A Resource Booklet that is meant to inspire and stimulate your heart and head in consideration of how to support friendships, make social connections and build broader support networks for adults with developmental disabilities.” Developed by Community Living British Columbia for discussion and review with
Self Advocates, Families, Service Providers, CLBC Staff and other community members.
This really excellent little document, with some great photos and practical ideas, will be available at our workshops, at workshops that Jule is hosting and through CLBC offices in the near future. Congratulations, Jule, for bringing this together!
