Thanks for joining us on this journey in our workshops and through this virtual conversation.   If you’d like to see the whole newsletter as a website instead of clicking through on individual articles, click here   Please don’t be shy about sending things in to share with others; we continue to gather  about 80 new subscribers a month – all of whom believe, as we do, that it’s time to talk about folks with disabilities in terms of the gifts they offer to our communities and our own circles of friends.   If you’re getting this newsletter you probably believe this too.   Send your submissions to psn@spectrumsociety.org

Susan and I continue to travel and are having a great time connecting with people who want to engage in this conversation and are passionate about community developmentment on this intimate level.    This month we’ll be in Victoria at BCACL, Squamish and Terrace.   We hope to meet you there!   If your group or agency (or any group of similar minded people) would like to host one of our workshops, please contact us.

Our book is now available through amazon, in four different countries (search on 101 ways to make friends) or you might be interested in ordering it in bulk through our office.    Our publisher has made available boxes of ten books to us at a much reduced rate (190.00 plus shipping for ten copies, as opposed to about 27 from an online or brick and mortar store).   We also sell copies at our workshops.   We love hearing stories about how the book is being used in self-advocates’ groups and, more recently, in a couple of school systems.
