Anti-Spam Law
Canada’s new Anti-Spam Law coming into effect on July 1, 2014 has everyone sending out lots of “please sign up again” requests. We don’t think this is required for our 101 Friends newsletter because all our subscribers gave consent to be on the mailing list when they signed up. If you are receiving this, you have subscribed through our blog, or through our e-mail newsletter MailChimp service or at a workshop with us. If you would like to unsubscribe from the blog (WordPress feature) you can do so by clicking on the “manage my subscriptions” link and removing this newsletter (see image below).
Or, if you are subscribed through our MailChimp service you can click the link at the bottom of the monthly newsletter you received as email:
We are thrilled that as of this morning 66,846 people have dropped in to be part of the conversations that we wanted to have, from so many places:
But it’s important to us that you want to be part of these conversations. We have new articles on family leadership and writing by self advocate friends about their lives on the horizon.
As always, forward this newsletter to friends who might be interested and also feel free to be one of nearly 400 people who have commented on articles – we love to hear what you’re thinking and about what you’re doing where you live! We’re also glad to look at submissions of writing or pictures about person centred and individualized supports for folks with disabilities, by them or by people who care about them.
