I love this photo! (Millie will love this photo!)

wow this is pretty fun but harder than I expected (which is what Susan and Ernie both said).    Finally took a breath and looked at some of the other featured blogs out there for five minutes.    This photo is from one that seems great and looking for sponsors.    All we’re really trying to do is tell hopeful positive stories about folks with disabilities and their relationships – they don’t need to be all our stories!

And today has been our busiest day of hits so far – 176!  (and we’re only a third of the way through the blogathon… though I am not expecting many companions during my midnight – 3 a.m. shift).

Thanks to the good people at www.blogathon.org for putting this on – we’re looking forward to next year already (we only decided to do this on tuesday).   To check out other blogs they’ve figured out this nifty frame – it takes you to random blogs and you can just keep clicking “next” to see what’s up.

Also thanks to our volunteer monitor, Li, who is checking in and commenting on things from England.    Not sure how many blogs she’s checking but I think it’s a lot.    I will be doing one more post and then returning at midnight…

in the meantime, i might read this woman’s diary (blogging in support of her local animal shelter)…

“You hear a lot of dialogue on the death of the American family. Families aren’t dying. They’re merging into big conglomerates.”  Erma Bombeck
